Dear child,
I know you have fought so much to get this far. It wasn’t easy. It is never easy. And you are the only one who understands the intimate details of the journey.
I know you are starting to feel as if you are weak; that no matter how much you brace yourself, you are always thrown to the ground knees first.
I know you are starting to doubt your capabilities; that maybe you don’t have a skin for that game.
I know you are starting to doubt your strength because you are always caught in the storm, always being swirled around, always losing your breath
.
But you are not weak for feeling the weight on your shoulders because anything that does not belong to you will feel different. You are not weak if the weight crushed you a little. You are not weak for getting tired as you shake the weight off your skin. You are not weak, if your body demands rest.
